Common questions
Grupy login or access key?
Use Grupy login when your app offers it: add the address, sign in, and approve. Use an access key for apps without a login, or for an agent that runs on its own. You create keys on the MCP page of the dashboard, and you can delete them at any time.
Which permissions can I give?
The basic permission only reads your summaries and your group list. Three extra permissions are optional and off by default: Read messages, Manage join requests, and Manage groups. You set them for each connection on the MCP page.
How do I take access back?
Open the MCP page in the dashboard. Remove the app connection or delete the access key. That app can no longer read your data.
What does Grupy not do?
Grupy does not send WhatsApp messages through an AI assistant, does not change group members or admins, and only works for the groups you turned on. An AI assistant only sees the data of your account.
