Delete your Grupy account

1. Delete from the Android app

1. Open the Grupy app and sign in with your Google account.
2. Open the Account tab.
3. Tap Delete account. The app opens your account page on the web.
4. Read the details of the data that will be deleted.
5. Type your account email, then check the box that confirms the account cannot be restored.
6. Choose Delete my account.

1. Sign in at grupy.chat with your Google account.
2. Open the Account page.
3. Choose Delete account at the bottom of the page.
4. Read the details of the data that will be deleted.
5. Type your account email, then check the box that confirms the account cannot be restored.
6. Choose Delete my account.

After that, you are signed out of Grupy and the account can no longer be used.

3. Can't sign in?

Send an email to halo@grupy.chat with the subject “Delete Grupy account”. Send it from the email address of the Google account you use with Grupy. We check that address before we delete the account.

4. Data that is deleted

• Your Grupy account and Google sign-in data.
• Your linked WhatsApp number. The WhatsApp connection is stopped first.
• The groups you chose, with their messages and member data.
• The small copies of your WhatsApp group profile photos.
• All summaries.
• Chat history that you imported.
• AI assistant connections and access. The access is revoked.
• Export files stored in Grupy.
• Your plan, quota usage, and account settings.

Deletion is completed within 30 days of your request. While it is in progress, the account cannot be used.

5. Data that is still stored

• Payment records, such as the plan and the amount paid. These records are no longer linked to your account. We keep them for bookkeeping and payment disputes.
• Export records that show the time, the group, and the number of rows. These records do not include emails, names, numbers, or message content. We keep them so that exports can be accounted for.
• Files in your Google Drive. If you use Save to Google Sheets, that file stays after your account is deleted. Delete that file yourself through Google.
• CSV files you have already downloaded. Those files are on your device, not in Grupy.

6. Delete some data without deleting your account

You do not need to delete your account to reduce the data that Grupy stores.

• Pause a group. Open Groups and summaries, then turn off the switch for that group. Grupy stops reading that group.
• Disconnect your WhatsApp number. Open Home, choose Disconnect, then choose Disconnect and delete data.
• Revoke an AI assistant's access. Open MCP · AI assistants, then choose Revoke access on the assistant you want.
• Disconnect Google Sheets. Open the summary page, then choose Disconnect Google Sheets.
• Wait for your plan's retention period. Messages and summaries are deleted automatically: Free 7 days, Starter 30 days, Pro 180 days.
